The African Development Bank is taking a leadership role in development innovation. This became clear during AfDB President Donald Kaberuka’s recent presentation and discussion at the Brookings Institution. President Kaberuka made a strong case for infrastructure development in Africa and the need to update development rules set 50 years ago – the “gramophone” age in the “iTunes” era.
