The FreeBalance International Steering Committee (FISC) is a premier global forum where government leaders, policymakers, and public financial management (PFM) experts collaborate to shape the future of public finance, governance, and digital transformation.

Since its inception in 2007, FISC has provided FreeBalance customers with an exclusive opportunity to exchange knowledge, explore good practices, and directly influence the FreeBalance product and services roadmap through discussions with FreeBalance decision-makers.

FISC 2025 Highlights

FISC 2025 was held in Dili, Timor-Leste under the theme “The Digital Transformation of Public Financial Management”. Over the five-day event, a range of presentations, workshops and interactive sessions explored how governments can leverage technology to improve transparency, efficiency, and service delivery. Discussions focused on:

  • Enhancing fiscal transparency and accountability using real-time data and automation.
