Invest Ottawa and Canadian High Commission leverage 2012 Olympics to promote Canadian companies on international stage
Ottawa, Canada (August 1, 2012) – FreeBalance, a leading vendor of Government Resource Planning (GRP) software, is pleased to announce participation in the Canadian ICT Showcase at Canada House, Trafalgar Square on August 6, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. The Canadian ICT Showcase is being organized by Invest Ottawa, in partnership with the Canadian High Commission in London.
The Canadian ICT showcase provides an opportunity to meet and network with leading Canadian businesses looking to partner with UK and international companies and organizations. “All eyes are on London for the Olympics and this event provides a great opportunity to raise the profile of successful Canadian companies like FreeBalance,” said Matthew Olivier, Director, Global Marketing & Alliances at FreeBalance. “FreeBalance solutions are contributing to public financial management reform and improvements in government effectiveness around the world according to a recent World Bank report. Canadian companies representing multiple industries will be showcased including OpenText, Mitel, Christie Digital Systems, Layer7, bitHeads, Playbrains, Macadamian Technologies, PNI Digital Media, Toon Boom Animation, Xomo Digital Inc., and Float4 Interactive. There is no charge to attend the showcase, but for security purposes pre-registration is mandatory and attendees must bring proof of identity to gain entrance to Canada House.
